Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March 1958, to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant and Joseph William Stone 2nd, a former tool and die worker as well as a factory worker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone was considered academically gifted as a child and began in second grade at the age of five. Stone graduated from Saegertown High School, located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. Also, Stone competed and won the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone as well as her aunt relocated from New Jersey to New Jersey to begin a modeling career in the year 1977. They signed up for an agency called the Ford Modeling Agency after a couple of months. The next stage was Europe which she was to spend a year living with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. But, Stone became disillusioned with the modeling scene within Europe which led her to take up acting in Europe while she was there. Woody Allen's movie, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success at the age of 20.
