Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. After training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd felt more confident following the win and fought 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. She finished her with a TKO after the second round. Her final fight with Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds and ended the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, lost to Randamie. As a last-minute replacement for her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a unanimous vote.
